About CWF Mid-Atlantic

CWF Mid-Atlantic is founded on the principles of what we refer to as the "Mid-Atlantic Tradition." Our events feature hard hitting wrestling action without the so-called "entertainment" that passes for wrestling in today's television programs. Our goal is to provide wrestling that is appropriate for the entire family and so enjoyable that you will want to keep coming back for each and every event we have.

You won't find wrestlers cursing or drinking beer. You won't see women having their clothes ripped off in a bra & panties match. You won't see wrestlers putting staples in each others heads or setting someone on fire. That isn't wrestling and it certainly isn't family friendly.

We believe in that old Gordon Solie saying about wrestling being on the marquee, and wrestling is what you are going to see. Our wrestling was family friendly enough to air on the PAX network, to have numerous TV news stations do stories on our family friendly atmosphere, and have feature articles in many area newspapers.

We are all about providing the best wrestling in the Mid-Atlantic to the fans featuring the homegrown talent from this area. CWF Mid-Atlantic is also all about keeping the "Mid-Atlantic Tradition" alive by reminding fans of the past stars that paved the path that we now follow.

You'll find the legends of yesteryear and tomorrow's superstars in CWF Mid-Atlantic.

What people are saying about CWF Mid-Atlantic

"I like wrestling coming back to the Carolinas. Good to see some 'old school' wrestling back. I remember the days of Jim Crocket Promotions! Glad to see it trying to come back!"

"I just recently moved to the area and caught the last two weeks of CWF action, and I really enjoyed the show. I've been in broadcasting and the show is well put together."

"I taped and watched the show that was aired on UPN. I've never been to an indy match, but your show was fun to watch. I liked the comment about who really appears in your main events on TV. I'll keep checking your site to see if you're coming anywhere to Greensboro, NC. I liked the six-man tag on the show I mentioned above. Then after it ended, I liked the locker room rumble as the show was going off the air. I could see a lot of potential in all the guys. I'm a 53 year old grandmother who's watched wrestling from the days of Gordon Solie and Georgia Champonship Wrestling. I tried to attend as many matches as possible when they would come to the Greensboro Coliseum in the 70s and 80s. From what I saw on that one show of yours, these guys are hard workers and try to put on a good, clean show. Keep up the good work and God bless."

"It's really great to see an alternative to the WWE on television in the Carolinas. I'd love to see you guys get a hour show instead of 30 minutes, but it's great to see good local wrestling in any capacity."
- mdc

"I went and watched another Carolina Wrestling Federation show this past weekend, and was treated to one of the best gimmick matches that I've seen in all of wrestlings recent history.... The CWF continues to be my favorite indy promotion."
