Brad Stutts released the following statement from the offices of Fatback Enterprises following the May 3rd CSA event:
The seventeenth day of May in the two-thousand and eight will be a monumental day for Fatback Enterprises. Because on that night in Burlington, we will finally reached two crucial resolutions.
First of all, Matthew de Nero will finally close the book on Mikael Yamaha once and for all. This heated personal issue that began in September 2005 will finally reach a d’enouement. It will be one time for all time, no disqualifications, one fall to a definitive conclusion. One winner. And that winner will be Matthew de Nero as he finally completes his journey into manhood and puts that ugly demon behind him once and for good.
Also on May 17th, Mitch Connor and I will stand in the center of the ring together and reach a resolution of our own. Mitch Connor is my best friend
in the wrestling industry. But we have collectively failed to make the most out of our business partnership for many months now due to bickering, disagreements and miscommunication. In short, the Connor/Fatback partnership has been crippled and not running at maximum efficiency for some time now. However, having said that, Mitch is still welcome in our group. Mitch still possesses a wealth of talent to bring to the table. An argument is just an argument and a shove is just a shove. I have given Mitch the choice to be one of us or one of them. And if Mitch Connor truly wants out of Fatback, he has to stand across the ring from me and tell me himself on May 17th. But he will also have to be prepared to deal with the consequences of his choice.
