Friday night Projekt X returns to Burlington, NC with "X Gonna Git Ya" featuring a trios bout as the International Trios Titles, Los Mercenarios Canadianese, defend against Las Chivas! The wild and crazy Mexican goats are aiming their horns at the Canadians' championship and this trios rules match could be the craziest, zaniest action ever seen in a CWF ring. CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena with a big card THIS Saturday as part of the Trifecta Weekend with Projekt X on Friday and RCW on Sunday bookending a spectacular weekend of wrestling in the Carolinas!
This Saturday will see the CWF Mid-Atlantic debut of one of the brightest up-and-coming second generation stars to come along in quite some time. RITCHIE STEAMBOAT, the son of the legendary Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, will be in action this Saturday! Steamboat hopes to make a mark in the territory where he famous father found some of his earliest career success. Ricky Steamboat was a 2 time Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion and 4-time Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champion in the formulative years of his legendary career and now his son Ritchie is eager to prove himself. Looking to spoil Steamboat's debut, however, is the dastardly Destiny faction led by Ty Dillinger. Dillinger will march PWS Heavyweight Champion JOEY SILVIA into the CSA this Saturday to do battle against Steamboat. These two bring a similar fast-paced, exciting style to the table and could steal the show!
The very Mid-Atlantic Tag Team championships that Rick Steamboat once held will go on the line Saturday night as Bobby O'Neill's Sindicate of MICHAEL McALLISTER & EVAN BANKS are slated to defend against Brad Stutts' Fatback Enterprises of COREY EDSEL & DONNIE DOLLAR$. With the Fatback faction hearing the cheers of the CWF superfans for the first time in their long tenure, Stutts will definitely hope to use that momentum to lead Fatback to its first major championship. However, dethroning the resourceful Sindicate has proven difficult for every team to cross their paths thus far. Their championship reign has even split up one popular tag-team after a devastating loss. Fatback will need to come with guns blazing if they hope to capture the coveted championships.
Last time at the CSA, "The 1st" RIC CONVERSE unleashed a vicious attack on Rising Generation League Champion CHIVA KID with a steel chair, injuring his left leg and costing the young kid 2 weeks on the injured reserve list. Now the youngster is hoping to rebound and has challenged Converse to a singles match on this Saturday's card. The offices of Aftermath frontman William L. Cross have accepted and the RGL Champ will go for revenge against one of the CWF's most decorated champions. After the attack on Chiva, Converse unleashed a venomous tirade against the KAMAKAZI KID. Kazi will be in attendance this Saturday and has informed CWF officials of a major announcement that he wants Converse there to hear. If Converse's mind is elsewhere or if Chiva Kid can capitalize on a Kazi distraction, we could see the upset of the year this Saturday!
Plus "The Riot Squad" of GEMINI KID; JESSE ORTEGA & "SIMPLY" STEVE GREENE will be in six man tag-team action against the triple tough team of ROB "BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN" McBRIDE; TANK LAWSON & ALEX ADONIS! McBride is headed to Rider's in the Country this Sunday night with a mystery partner to go against Greene and Ty Dillinger in a grudge tag-team match. Greene and his VIP partners will undoubtedly want to soften the "Boogie Woogie Man" up but he will have two of the toughest wrestlers in the Mid-Atlantic as his partners for this explosive six man tag!
PLUS Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion BRASS MUNKEY and RCW Heavyweight Champion MARCELLUS KING will both be in attendance; LEE VALIANT will defend the Mid-Atlantic Television Championship plus MUCH MORE!
Then this Sunday Rider's in the Country hosts the wacky action of RCW Wrestling with a 7:30 PM bell time. The main event will pit champion vs. champion as Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion BRASS MUNKEY faces RCW Heavyweight Champion MARCELLUS KING! The winner will certainly be among the top ranked grapplers in the new Pro Wrestling International sanctioning body as well as leaving Rider's in the Country with two major championships!
