+++Six-man elimination action kicked off the final PROJEKT X of 2011 with the current PWI International Trios Champions Chase Dakota, “Surly” Cecil Scott & Mecha Mercenary facing Fatback Enterprises’ Donnie Dollar$, “Young Gun” Nick Richards & Brad Stutts in non-title action. With nearly fifteen minutes of action under their belts, manager Brad Stutts entered the ring to pin Dakota. Richards then took out Scott, leaving it three-on-one with Mecha Mercenary against the entire Fatback team. Dollar$ finished the bout, pinning Mecha clean to finish off the PWI International Trios Champions.

+++Results courtesy of IndyInsiders.Com. Please share this info if you repost these results in another forum!

+++All Star’s “Prince of Heat” Court Montgomery was out next for singles action against former RGL Champion Jason Miller. Miller went through an entire series of stolen moves to finish off the hated referee-turned-wrestler in just over three minutes.

+++Six-man elimination action hit the ring for the second time in the evening with Trevor Lee, Ben Tyler & “Arrogant” Aric Andrews facing off against the team of Cedric Alexander, Caprice “Ice” Coleman & Joe Black. Almost twenty minutes of action ensued before the first elimination, which was the game Joe Black by pinfall at the hands of Andrews. Andrews was the next man out at the hands of Coleman, who was then eliminated by Lee. Tyler found himself eliminated at the hands of Alexander, making it a one-on-one bout in the final minutes. Alexander took control and ended the bout with a pinfall over Lee, giving his team the duke.

+++Former tag partners (and very confused competitors) All Star’s Michael “the Fury” McAllister w/Court Montgomery and the Sindicate’s Evan Banks w/Bobby O’Neil were out next for singles action, with both men forgetting they were no longer tag partners during the match intro. After the confusion when the bell sounded, the two went at a contest of one-upping each other with moves borrowed from popular wrestlers on television before McAllister got serious and pinned his former partner as his former manager looked on from the floor in disbelief.

+++Adam Page was out for the main event to face Arik Royal in singles action. The two went to war and nearly brought the roof down with a hard-hitting and occasionally high-flying bout of holds and counters. As the stands filled with wrestlers who had competed in earlier bouts, the two went at each other for keeps, exchanging boots to the heads and chops in the corners. Royal seemed to maintain his momentum throughout the battle, but eventually found himself on his back for the three count as Page was able to seal the deal for a big win against the hot young Royal.

5. 7 Oh! 4′s Cederick Alexander & PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion “Midnight Sun” Caleb Konley defeated Trevor Lee & Ben Tyler by submission in tag team action (21:25)

6. Joe Black defeated “Hot Shot” Shawn Adams by submission in singles action (9:13)

8. Chase Dakota, “Surly” Cecil Scott & Mecha Mercenary defeated PWI International Trios Champions Jason Miller, Adam Page & Mark James two out of three falls to win the Championship (16:15) [Fall 1: Mark James pinned Chase Dakota (13:08); Fall 2: Mecha Mercenary pinned Mark James (13:40); Fall 3: Cecil Scott pinned Jason Miller (16:15)]

+++Trevor Lee & Ben Tyler were out to kick off the evening’s competition in tag team action against the team of Robyn Golphyn & Terrell Givens. Lee and Tyler finished off the game newcomers after a high-impact battle, winning the opening bout by convincing pinfall and exiting the arena to the displeasure of the fans.

+++Results courtesy of IndyInsiders.Com. Please pass this information along if you re-post these results in another forum!

+++Former CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Champion Adam Page got a measure of revenge over one-half of the current Mid Atlantic Tag Champions, All Star Roy “Tiger” Wilkins in singles action. Wilkins tried to use the extended PROJEKT X count to stretch the bout out and after sending Page to the floor for some extra damage on one of his legs, seemed to have the bout in hand. Page refused to call it quits and stayed in the bout, pinning Wilkins’ shoulders to the canvas for the three-count.

+++Two high-flyers hit the ring next as “Rock Star” Jersey Kidd entered to go to battle against the masked Chiva Kid. The bout was pretty much even for the first ten minutes with both men getting their best shots in on the other, but Chiva was able to withstand an incredible amount of punishment in the final two minutes of the bout and keep his head in the bout for a pinfall win with only two seconds remaining in the unconventional PROJEKT X time limit.

+++2011 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament Champion Arik Royal was out next to face big William Alexander Huckaby in singles action. Huckaby spent much of this time in the ring sounding off to the fans and the ringside cameramen as he battled the hot young man across the squared circle to a near stand-still for much of the bout. Royal gathered his wits late and took the big newcomer to the canvas for a convincing pinfall victory.

+++Trevor Lee & Ben Tyler returned to the ring for a second bout in the evening, complaining loudly that they had “already competed” to officials and the fans. Their opponents, the team known as 7 Oh! 4, PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion “Midnight Sun” Caleb Konley & Cederick Alexander hit the ring and found themselves in for a real battle from the younger competitors who have obviously done their homework on the popular duo from Charlotte NC. The bout crossed the twenty-minute mark before 7 Oh! 4 set up Lee & Tyler for the ending they didn’t want to be a part of, a submission that sent the crowd into a roar as Konley & Alexander exited the arena victorious.

+++Canadian “Hot Shot” Shawn Adams was out next for singles action against Joe Black, and soon discovered that despite a size advantage that Joe Black was indeed all business inside of the wrestling ring. Black withstood everything the mouthy Canuck could dish out before finishing him off face-down on the canvas unable to continue in the eyes of referee Court Montgomery, who begrudgingly ended the bout in favor of Black.

+++Matt Houston & “Arrogant” Aric Andrews were out next for tag team action against Fatback Enterprises’ Donnie Dollar$ & “Young Gun” Nick Richards w/Brad Stutts. Richards was soon targeted by the veteran Houston, as was his recently injured neck, which caused him to miss a couple of events after Houston’s regular tag partner dropped him on his head in an illegal piledriver in Greensboro NC weeks prior to tonight’s event. Richards withstood the onslaught and along side of Dollar$, who was celebrating his birthday, left the ring with a pinfall victory over Houston & Andrews, exiting with a challenge for Houston to return to the CWF ring with his regular tag partner Louis Moore to face Fatback again in the future.

+++The PWI International Trios Championship was up for grabs in Best of Three Falls action as champions Jason Miller, Adam Page & Mark James went head-to-head with former Trios champions Chase Dakota, “Surly” Cecil Scott & Mecha Mercenary. The match quickly became a brawl, with all six men trying to get their shots in on the other team’s members and exiting the ring allowing a partner to enter, as dictated by the PROJEKT X “Lucha” Rules. The big masked man found himself in an unfamiliar position on a couple of occasions, on the canvas, by the teamwork of the champions, but it only served to anger him more than usual and in the long run did not bode well for the Trios Champs. James pinned Dakota to win the first fall past the 13 minute mark but the challengers evened the score about 30 seconds later as Mecha returned the favor and pinned James. About three minutes later as all six men were brawling all over the arena, allowing Scott to steal a pinfall from RGL Champion Miller to return the Championship to the former champions!

8. Mike Quackenbush & Chiva Kid defeated the Aftermath’s “the 1st” Ric Converse & Xsiris w/Wiliam L. Cross by pinfall in PWI International Rules tag team action (18:57)

+++Fatback Enterprises’ Donnie Dollar$ and “Arrogant” Aric Andrews opened the night’s bouts with a slobberknocker, with both men struggling to get to their feet minutes into the match. Dollar$ and Andrews exchanged attempted finishers and Dollar$ caught his opponent in the mouth with a big boot to put him down for the three count.

+++Results courtesy of the waterlogged guys at IndyInsiders.Com. Please pass this along if you post these results elsewhere or dry your clothes. Either or.

+++Chikara’s Jakob Hammermier interrupted opening comments, rushing the ring demanding a match. CWF’s “Young Gun” Nick Richards answered the challenge and went to battle against the cocky German competitor. Even with Tim Dontz offering his input to the bout behind the referee’s back, Richards was able to continue the Fatback Enterprises winning streak with a victory to put CWF up 1-0 over Chikara Pro in Best of Five Matches Challenge action.

+++Four way tag team action was up next as the All Star’s Walter Eaton & “Tiger” Wilkins were led to the ring by Coach Gemini. The Bravado Brothers, Lance & Harlem, entered the arena next, followed by the team of RGL Champion Jason Miller & Mark James and then the team of Joe Black & Arik Royal. Referee Court Montgomery, the All Star’s hand-picked official, was in charge of the match and openly cheered his team on to an eventual pinfall win after totally missing Coach Gemini using his Red’s batting helmet on an unsuspecting victim in the ring.

+++CWF’s Chase Dakota was out next to face Chikara’s Green Ant in the Best of Five Challenge, squaring off in singles action. The tricky ant proved to be hard to get a handle on as Dakota tried everything he could think of to get him on his back for a pinfall. The Colony’s Green Ant forced Dakota to tap out, evening up the series at 1-1.

+++Chikara’s Ophidian of the Osirian Portal was out next to face CWF’s Trevor Lee in Best of Five Challenge singles action. The reptilian snake-masked Chikara star displayed his uncanny moves in a manner unique to him, striking from impossible positions and avoiding Lee’s attacks with moves most humans could not even consider en route to a pinfall win putting Chikara up 2-1 in the CWF v. Chikara Challenge.

+++The unusual Batiri, Obariyon & Kodama, were out next, representing Chikara Pro in the Best of Five Challenge in tag team action against CWF Tag Champions VA Bombers, Adam Page & Jason Blade. In a high-flying high-impact war, the violent Batiri didn’t seem bothered by the Bomber’s attacks early on, but after locking one of them into their patented double-team stretch, the playing field seemed to level for the Mid Atlantic Tag Champs. The Bombers evened the score in the Best of Five Challenge by defeating the Batiri by pinfall, making it a 2-2 tie after four challenge bouts.

+++The BDK’s Tursas entered next to go one-on-one with CWF’s Mecha Mercenary in the fifth and final bout in the Best of Five CWF v. Chikara Challenge. The two monsters pounded, beat, kicked and roared in a battle of titans, neither giving an inch to the other. After several minutes of brutality and anger between both masked men, they both attacked official Court Montgomery, making a referee sandwich which slumped slowly to the canvas for the duration. After several more minutes of competitors from both organizations entering the arena, the match had to be thrown out and ruled “No Contest” in the mayhem that followed, leaving the CWF v. Chikara Pro Challenge left at a 2-2 tie.

+++The Aftermath’s “the 1st” Ric Converse & Xsiris w/William L. Cross were out for the special challenge main event to face the first-time tag team of Chikara’s Mike Quackenbush and CWF’s masked Chiva Kid in PWI International Tag Team rules action. One of the most entertaining bouts in recent memory broke out with the Aftermath finally getting control of the match after they kept the Chiva Kid from making a tag to the rested Quackenbush on the ring apron. Several more minutes of brutality on the masked Mexican star and an attempted baton shot to the head by manager Cross, he finally made a leap into his corner for the tag. Mike Quackenbush hit the ring and befuddled Xsiris, grapevining his legs and playing keep-away while taking choice shots at the face of the flustered Xsiris. Converse fared no better with him, but Chiva Kid was soon tagged back in and he and his partner went to work at finishing off the hated Aftermath. Chiva & Quackenbush had their hands raised in victory as the Aftermath complained loudly making their exit. The Chikara star told the fans that despite no decision in the CWF v. Chikara Challenge, he was thinking now that rather than being rivals that the two organizations could do greater things working together.

+++PWI International Trios Champions Chase Dakota, “Creepy” Cecil Scott & Mecha Mercenary began the night with the house mic taking shots at everyone in attendance and finally noticing one half of the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Champions VA Bombers Adam Page selling his new t-shirts in the arena. After a few barbs aimed at the tag champion, he climbed through the ropes and quickly found himself surrounded by the Trios champs. After the three finally got Page on the canvas, partner Jason Blade & RGL Champ Jason Miller hit the ring to even the odds.

+++Results courtesy of IndyInsiders.Com. Please pass that along if you re-post these results elsewhere!

+++Cocky young “Arrogant” Aric Andrews was out first for singles action against the “foundation” of Fatback Enterprises, Donnie Dollar$. Andrews refused to accept that his opponent was vastly more experienced and went nose-to-nose with him from the opening bell. Dollar$ attempted to wear his game opponent down, working the match at his pace, but Andrews refused to go away. Pulling an upset by pinning Dollar$ for the three count, Andrews left the arena with his hand raised and ego boosted by his own performance.

+++Veteran Mark James returned to CWF Mid Atlantic for singles action against the game young referee-turned-wrestler Joe Black. Black was taken to a new limit and forced to wrestle a longer bout than he’s accustomed to and found himself on his back for a three count loss as James adds a pinfall win to his record.

+++”Tiger” Roy Wilkins, the Special Teams Coach of the All Stars was out next for singles action against young Trevor Lee. Lee got the fans behind him early, teasing Wilkins and using his ring shirt for a self-fashioned “turban”. However, the coach stuck to his gameplan, removing himself from the ring any time Lee began to gain any momentum in the bout, taking advantage of the Projekt X 20 count. Lee began to over-extend himself to try to catch Wilkins on the floor, but that just played into the veteran’s plan, trying to exhaust Lee by making him chase him. Wilkins measured the game youngster and after nearly 15 minutes of playing catch, caught Lee on the canvas and pinned him for the three count.

+++Fatback’s “Young Gun” Nick Richards began the post-intermission session of Projekt X, upset about his tag partner being pinned in the opener and itching for a fight. Calling out “anyone” from the back, “Arrogant” Aric Andrews made his way to the ring to try to make it a 2-0 night against the surviving members of Fatback Enterprises. Nobody expected what came next. Richards put together a pretty straight-forward match against the cocky youngster, and stayed in the fight from bell to bell. Andrews, possibly a little fatigued from earlier action, found himself wrestling for almost 20 minutes in his SECOND bout of the evening before finding himself bettered by the angry Richards.

+++Two out of Three Fall PWI International Trios Championship action main evented Projekt X and champions Chase Dakota, “Creepy” Cecil Scott & Mecha Mercenary hit the ring with the huge championship trophy. The challengers, not unaccustomed to carrying titles, hit the ring ready for battle. CWF RGL Champ Jason Miller teamed with CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions VA Bombers Jason Blade & Adam Page to make a run at the trophy and war then ensued. With over fourteen minutes of battle under their belts, Mecha Mercenary was tagged in and promptly pinned Jason Blade to give his team a 1-0 fall advantage. Less than two minutes later, Adam Page put the shoulders of Cecil Scott to the canvas to even the score for the teams. Jason Miller made a saving tag from the Bombers and hit the ring like a whirlwind, securing another major title for his rookie year scrapbook by helping himself and the Bombers to the PWI International Trios Championship.

+++Veteran madman Otto Schwanz was out first for singles action against Andrew Davis and perhaps found himself in for more of a fight than he expected when he signed for the bout. The game young Davis refused to quit and kept fighting back when Schwanz tried to put him out, fighting back right in the face of the former WWE competitor. Schwanz didn’t relent after realizing what kind of fight he was in for, pinning his young opponent with only 2 seconds remaining on the match time limit.

+++Brandon Day made his return to the CWF ring drawing the current Rising Generation League Champion Jason Miller for singles action. Day unloaded early on the young champion, but Miller kept his wits about him and returned the favor in the most opportune fashion to end the bout in just over six minutes with a pinfall win over the veteran.

+++One fall four-way action was up next as the Set’s Lance Lude, newcomer Chris McVey, Trevor Lee & Matt Smith stepped through the ropes to answer the bell. An entertaining and fast-paced bout ensued with all four men showing their individual talents inside of the squared circle. Tags kept the match fresh as the match began to get somewhat out of hand with all four competitors squaring off in pairs. Lude took advantage of the melee on the floor and took the pinfall win in the middle of the ring when the official’s attention was on him.

+++”Young Gun” Nick Richards was out next for singles action against the All Star’s Michael “the Fury” McAllister w/Special Teams Coach Roy Wilkins. Ricahrds, despite a being at a numbers disadvantage the entire match, kept the bout within reach for the duration and finally caught Wilkins out of position to help his teammate as he took the duke by pinfall.

+++Non-title tag team action was up next as two-thirds of the PWI International Trios Champions Chase Dakota & “Creepy” Cecil Scott made their way to the ring to face the current CWF Tag Champions VA Bombers Jason Blade & Adam Page. An exciting fast-paced bout ensued early, slowed to the Trios Champions pace midway and ended in a flurry as the Bombers took out the Trios Champions via pinfall in one of the most entertaining battles in recent memory.

+++One fall Trios rules action was the main event of the evening, with the team of “New Era” Jimmy Parker, “Arrogant” Aric Andrews & “Hard Times” Ty Dillinger w/Special Teams Coach Roy Wilkins squared off against the team of Joe Black, Arik Royal & the Chiva Kid. And of all times to show one team favor over the other, probational referee Court Montgomery chose that match to try to settle the score with Royal’s outspoken team. After several orders NOT to use specific moves on their opponents, the frustration mounted as the official never happened to catch Parker, Andrews & Dillinger with their hands in the till. After numerous threats of disqualification by the ring official, he found himself in no position NOT to make the final three count giving Chiva, Royal & Black a pinfall main event win, despite doing it slower than the legendary Bronco Lubich’s three-count. Dillinger & Wilkins added insult to injury by attacking their young main event partners following the decision.

3. CWF Rising Generation League Champion Jason Miller & CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Champions Jason Blade & Adam Page defeated “New Era” Jimmy Parker, Arrogant Aric Andrews & Canadian Mercenary 3.5 by pinfall in six-man tag action (12:50)

6. The Notorious 187 Homicide defeated “Young Gun” Nick Richards w/Brad Stutts by pinfall in main event Bounty Match action (15:37)

+++PWI International Trios Champions Chase Dakota, “Creepy” Cecil Scott & Mecha Mercenary were out first to defend their championship against the team of Trevor Lee, Ben Tyler & “One Man Boy Band” Roo-D Lewis in best of three falls action. All six men took their turns, with the monster Mecha watching mostly from the apron, and the battle raged well over ten minutes before the champions won the first fall. The match continued immediately and all six men became involved in brawls inside and outside of the ring, presenting an opportunity for the champions to steal the second fall to retain the PWI International Trios Championship.

+++Results courtesy of the GoDaddy Hosting Powered Monster IndyInsiders.Com! Pass this on should you re-post these results elsewhere.

+++Cederick Alexander was out next to face newcomer Andrew Davis in singles action. Alexander began to feel he had a definite advantage over his opponent and it was almost his downfall as Davis jumped at the chance to pin the veteran. Alexander righted the ship and finished the bout via pinfall over the newcomer.

+++Six-man tag action was up next as the teams of “New Era” Jimmy Parker, “Arrogant” Aric Andrews & Canadian Mercenary 3.5 squared off against CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Champions VA Bombers Jason Blade & Adam Page and CWF RGL Champion Jason Miller. The team of reigning champions showed off their abilities to the delight of the fans by finishing off their opponents by pinfall with just a couple of minutes remaining in their time limit.

+++Gemini’s All Stars’ “Designated Hitter” Ty Dillinger was out next for a non-title singles battle against CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion and former partner Lee Valiant. Dillinger went through almost his entire Ric Flair imitation, but profiled when he should have styled as Valiant hit him with a Sharpshooter out of nowhere and forced his former friend to submit.

+++Eight man action was up next as CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion “Assassin” Ray Kandrack, “Special Teams Coach” Roy Wilkins, Walter Eaton & Michael “the Fury” McAllister w/Ty Dillinger went toe-to-toe with Donnie Dollars, Joe Black, Arik Royal & Chiva Kid w/Brad Stutts. An entertaining and hard-hitting battle broke out as the two teams of rivals started letting things get to them and perhaps taking things just a little bit personal and leaving the losing team lying in the middle of the ring after the bell. The All Stars team took the pinfall win under the leadership of Dillinger leaving the ring looking like an accident on the interstate.

+++The Notorious 187 Homicide hit the ring with a swagger and basically dared “Young Gun” Nick Richards w/Brad Stutts to get in the ring with him. Richards stood up to the former ROH World Heavyweight Champion and tried to make a go from the opening bell, but the street-tough Homicide was not one to be surprised very easily inside of the squared circle. Richards took several moments advantage, catching the world traveler in more than a couple of moments of confusion and taking charge of the situation. Homicide, however, refused to back down and moved forward from bell-to-bell. After sending Richards to the concrete numerous times, and trying to finish him off with a steel chair, Homicide took care of his business with a convincing pinfall win.

On January 21st during the PWI Trios Championship Tournament was held in Burlington, NC at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium to crown new International Trios Champions.

Semi-Final action saw Chase Dakota, “Creepy” Cecil Scott & Mecha Mercenary made their way to the ring to await opponents Arik Royal, “Young Gun” Nick Richards & Joseph A. Blackwail w/ Brad Stutts. After ten minutes of battling Royal opened up on all three of his opponents, sending the flying all over the arena. With the official having to watch three fights at one time, the Dakota, Scott, Mercenary team sealed the deal to advance to the Final later in the evening when Mercenary snatched up Blackwail in a thunderous press slam bomb to pick up the three count.

The second Semi-Final PWI International Trios Championship bout entered the ring next as Ty Dillinger, Roy Wilkins & Michael “the Fury” McAllister went to war against the team of CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Champions Adam Page & Jason Blade and CWF Rising Generation League Champion Jason Miller. The members of Coach Gemini’s All Stars found themselves against the ropes as the three champions advanced to the main event Final over Dillinger, Wilkins & McAllister via pinfall when Miller caught Dillinger with the belly-to-belly suplex.

Six man tag team action was up next, with the winner getting a guaranteed shot at the next Projekt X event on Friday February 4th against whoever ultimately won the tournament to emerge as the new International Trios Champions. The tournament’s “play in” qualifier saw The Set’s Jay Sinn & Lance Lude with partner “Arrogant” Aric Andrews face off against the team of Trevor Lee, Ben Tyler & “One Man Boy Band” Roo-D Lewis. All six men took shots at their opponents, each showing what they offered to their teams, but young Ben Tyler sealed the win for his team with an incredible 450 splash to gain the fall.

Chase Dakota, “Creepy” Cecil Scott & Mecha Mercenary were out first for the main event with Adam Page, Jason Blade & Jason Miller following for “international” rules action for the vacant PWI International Trios Championship. With the 5+ foot Trios Cup trophy standing on the announce table, the six men went out for a one-way ticket to a prestigious PWI International title. Frantic action ensued as both teams settled into a breakneck pace with RGL champ Jason “JBM” Miller seemed to take over the bout single-handedly after the fifteen minute mark. All six men became involved in knots of battles inside and outside of the squared circle with the masked Mecha Mercenary refusing to leave his feet for ANY attack. The leaping KENTA knee from Dakota followed by the massive flying elbowdrop from the 350+ pound Mecha spelled the end of the tournament as Scott scored the winning fall while his partners held their opponents at bay. The treacherous trio seized the championship and a chance to lead for a parade lap with their International Trios Championship trophy.

Projekt X returns on Friday night February 4th where Scott, Dakota and Mecha will defend the trophy against the team of Lewis, Lee and Tyler with the lucha-influenced two out of three falls rules in effect.

All of us at Projekt X extend our deepest thanks to all the fans who made Year 2 a wonderful, rousing success.

Year 2 for Projekt X saw special appearances from some world-renowned talents like EL GENERICO, PAUL LONDON, ALLISON DANGER, SARA DEL REY and LUKE GALLOWS.

We saw TREVOR LEE battle MATT SMITH in a grueling Ultimate Submission Match and two months later they were joined by the high-flying CHIVA KID for a breath-taking three-way Extreme Rules Match.

It was a fun and carefree atmosphere at the 2010 Summer Party until PWI Florida’s JOEY SAINT nearly maimed ROB McBRIDE to become the first PWI Brass Knuckles Champion.

We saw a Mid-Atlantic dream match as LEE VALIANT battled CHARLIE DREAMER for the first time ever in the first round of the 2010 Weaver Cup.

THE SINDICATE emerged victorious from the 1st Annual Trios Tournament and then did everything they could to avoid defending their Trios trophy. You can’t really blame them after Valiant and Arik Royal nearly killed Evan Banks.

We saw one of the Carolinas all-around best talents CALEB KONLEY take some of CWF’s best to their limit until he ran into the monstrous MECHA MERCENARY, who eliminated Konley to win Battlebowl 2010.

Newcomers like JASON MILLER, JIMMY PARKER and THE VA BOMBERS began to first make waves on Projekt X cards before moving up to the CWF Mid-Atlantic roster.

TREVOR LEE eventually found a referee.

Who knows what Year 3 will bring to Projekt X? We can already tell you that some mainstream names and some huge surprises are in the works. We sincerely thank you for your continued patronage, your constant support and your enthusiasm as we attempt to grow Projekt X into a viable brand in the PWI organization. Thanks so much and join us for Year 3 in 2011!

Projekt X-MAS heated up the frigid December air on Friday night December 17th with a night of exciting matches just 24 hours before BATTLECADE XI.The main event saw Ultra J Champion CHIVA KID against Fatback’s “Young Gun” and former Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champion NICK RICHARDS!

These two faced off in the 2008 Rising Generation League Tournament Finals and now two years later they battled it out for one of the richest prizes in the Pro Wrestling International organization. On that night in 2008 Richards went in as the defending RGL Champion and Chiva scored the pinfall to win his first major singles title. Now the tables turned with Chiva a defending champion and Richards a hungry challenger for the Ultra J crown.

On December 17th, both these immensely popular fan favorites took center stage in the main event of the last Projekt X event of Year 2. Once the bell rang, all in attendance were treated to a spectacularly wrestled contest as the two young lions went hold for hold and move for move for the entire duration of the thirty minute time limit.
Richards wrestled a nearly flawless match, keeping the high-flyer grounded with mat wrestling and by staying on the masked Mexican champion relentlessly. Chiva continued to try to free himself from Richards so he could get to the ropes, but wasn’t able get his usual momentum to finish off the surprisingly resilient challenger. The two, nearly exhausted, looked at the referee in disbelief as he ruled the bout a time limit draw and awarding the title back to Chiva Kid. The two shook hands following their main event battle as the fans roared in appreciation.
The annual Rising Generation League tournament kicked off Friday night November 19th at Projekt X, with eight rising young stars entered in this year’s field.

JASON MILLER was the first to advance to the semi-finals with a big win over perennial rival JIMMY PARKER, who was escorted to the ring by double championship tag partner Shane Phoenix. With the fans solidly on his side, the popular Miller battled back from a deficit and advanced to the second round via pinfall.

JERSEY KIDD made his Projekt X debut taking on BEN TYLER. Kidd is a rare case of a young standout from outside CWF Mid-Atlantic who was invited to participate in the tournament. Tyler impressed after kicking his match up to high gear five minutes into the ten minute match, taking a come-from-behind pinfall win to advance to the second round.

The monstrous MECHA MERCENARY was out next for first round RGL Tournament action and drew former champion “One Man Boy Band” ROO D. LEWIS. Lewis had brief moments of fleeting glory but ended up having the ring wiped with his almost unconscious body, falling via pinfall in under two and a half minutes.

Current RGL Champion CHASE DAKOTA was up next to defend his title in the 2010 RGL Tournament against first round opponent JOSEPH BLACKWAIL. The impressive referee-turned-rookie wrestler took control of his bout, came moments from walking out with his first title until Special Teams Coach Roy Wilkins appeared at ringside and turned the tide of the match behind the official’s back. Dakota took the bout by pinfall, retaining the RGL Title and advancing to the second round.

The tournament semi-final round was held Saturday December 4th as part of the “Road to Battlecade” event. Semi-Final action kicked off with Mecha Mercenary taking on CWF Dojo graduate Ben Tyler. Tyler took a beating but kept successfully answering the official, continuing to keep himself in the bout by sheer willpower. The masked monster used Tyler as a stepping stone to his very first singles title shot at BattleCade XI, with an eventual pinfall win.

Current RGL Champion Chase Dakota was introduced next to face off against popular rookie Jason B. Miller in the match to determine who would advance to face Mecha in the finals. Dakota’s strategy to ideally face his ally and teammate in the finals seemed sound on paper, but we will never know if Mecha would have in fact “done the favor” for Dakota, as Miller withstood everything the champion could think to dish out. Without backing down, JBM took the title off of Dakota by pinfall to advance to the RGL Final at Battlecade XI.

By rule, the RGL Championship was declared VACANT once Dakota was eliminted. The tournament finals took place Saturday December 18th at CWF’s anniversary event BATTLECADE XI pitting the popular young JASON MILLER against the 350-pound MECHA MERCENARY.

The monstrous Mecha dominated much of the bout, despite Miller’s vow that he would not only be the first man to knock Mecha off his feet but also the first man to beat him. Miller’s perseverance finally created an opening late in the bout when a flurry of powerful strikes from Miller left Mercenary dazed. Seizing the opportunity, Miller came off the ropes with a THUNDEROUS running lariat that finally sent the big man crashing to the canvas for the first time in his professional career. The ecstatic Miller regained his composure and went for the pinfall but the air came out of the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium when Mecha kicked at two, continuing the bout.

But Miller remained focused on the task at hand and when Mecha missed a running charge towards Miller and crashed into the turnbuckle, Miller seized the opening again and locked his arms around the 350 pounder. The Sportatorium crowd exploded as Miller shockingly executed a HUGE belly-to-belly suplex on Mecha and dove on top of him for the dramatic three count to capture the championship.

The crowning of the new champion and perhaps the entire 2010 RGL Tournament can best be summed up by a few frames of film captured after the conclusion of the tournament as Miller was presented with the championship belt. Pleased with himself and his victory, the rugged Texan stared directly into the ringside camera and simply said “I told you he was going down.”

With the new year fast approaching, the brand new Rising Generation League Champion, Jason Miller seems poised to make a huge impact in 2011!
