The Mid-Atlantic Tradition
Wrestling fans in the Mid-Atlantic area have witnessed some of the greatest wrestling matches of all time. The best wrestlers were
drawn to this area because of the level of competition, the rich heritage, and of course the great fans that turned out night after night to see them display their craft in the squared circle.
Unfortunately that tradition was abandoned many years ago but it has never been forgotten. The CWF was founded in the roots of the Mid-Atlantic tradition and has always honored that heritage. We will continue to do so by acknowledging and honoring the many greats that made an impact in this area, to preserve those memories, and to uphold the tradition of great wrestling action.
Take a look and remember that heritage through our collection of Mid-Atlantic Heros. These are professional photos were taken by the official photographer of Jim Crockett Promotions and official photographer of the CWF Mid-Atlantic. This is just a few to look at as we begin to make these available for the first time ever! All photos are available for purchase as a glossy 8x10.
